Tips to managing stock levels with Lintec of America’s customer service team.

We provide a custom-made product to you, so managing stock is front of mind. Here are a few tips and tricks to make sure you never run out of your relied-upon Adwill products:

  1. Blanket PO’s

We know that not all of our customers have this luxury, but if you can create blanket PO’s for your materials, this is the best possible way to ensure that you are at the front of the line to receive our quality products. Blanket PO’s allow us to plan in advance, schedule your orders and be better prepared for changes to your production. Yes, that’s right - if you already have a lineup of orders, and you need to get tape quicker, or push out your ship date, that blanket PO that is in place will make those adjustments easier to manage.

  1. Forecast

Forecasting is a great way to let us know how much material you need prior to you providing us with a purchase order. It is not a promise to purchase, just an estimate of what you will need. Forecast protects you from out-of-stock situations by making sure we set aside enough material to make your tape when you are ready for it. Our lead times for our tapes are based on forecasted materials, so a forecast can potentially save you a few weeks of delay.

  1. Get to know your Customer Service team

Mikoto, Andrea, Michelle and I are here all week and don’t mind chatting with you by email or phone about any questions or concerns you might have. You can just say hello, or ask us about shipping options, forecast and other related questions. We love our customers, and we love to help!

  1. Use

Each Customer service team member has a dedicated group of customers that they work with regularly. We like it this way because we can get to know you better. But sometimes the unexpected happens, or we take a few planned days off. In this case, using makes sure your email is returned within 1 business day, even if your dedicated CSR is out of the office.
